Such as spring is a symbol of awakening, our good old buddies from Megamixers.com have awaken and prepared for us the new music vibes (EDIT: author is speaking about the new mixes =] ), which are worth to listen to. Mixes, God knows how long they are (God: sadly, short one, short one =]), but in terms of efficiency and creativity, these works are exactly what you’re looking for.

1.) Mix Addict – Unexpected Mix

Two kinds of message, acording to the type of megamix fan, you are:

In short for the regular visitors, megamix fans:

It contains the keysampling parts! (Every day I play the part from 01:36 =]) Anyway, great mix to your collection! BTW: If you don’t know who is ‘Mix Addict‘?
The guy, DJ, mix lover, old member of Megamixers.com,…. that comes from the Slovakia, probably you will know him more under the mixes from the “United Audio Team“.

Long message for first time visitors:

Keysampling? What the he** it is? I am not here to explain it. Visit our forum to get to know, there is a bunch of experts, who can teach you that and you can gain more mixing skills, music mixes etc.

To not to forget, the mix is available  from our  forum, listen to the mix right here.

2.) DJ CL – Chart 1

Do you remember the days, when the guy under the nickname ‘Ebzen‘ served us the reviews  about Deep Dance, Studio 33, Beat 66,….(ehm, a looong list….) of the newest mixes? I personally remember and you possibly should  too. If not, I need to say, that the old friend Ebzen changed his nickname into the new DJ nickname ‘DJ CL‘ (not now, some time ago =] ). So, this is definitely not his first mix, if you want to see his discography, please do it from that link. I’ve already had the chance to hear the new mix “Chart 1” and I need to say that he made it crazy & creative. (Haha, the chicken’s part is very crazy  at 03:52). I recommend to visit our forum to see the track list and listen to his mix right here .

Please remember that megamixers needs also your support, feedback. So, I am asking for a tiny amount of your free time, to write your comments back about the mixes. Thank you for that!

3.) More mixes online!

For more actual mixes like for example from DJ Son’s ‘Efectos Personales vol.5“, DJ D!sC  with  ‘The BossHoss Megamix 2010‘ or try to listen to our MM Mixcasts that are mixed by Slimjay and DJ Cosmo.

Author’s note: Sorry for the long speech, I gotta to short it for the next time.

I have today find a really nice article (named the same like this post) written by Sonaris from web-magazine “Internet DJ“. I have decided to share the note about it here: Author begins his article with the following text:

I’ve been doing a lot of remixes lately which got me thinking: “What is it about a particular track that makes me want to add my flavor to it?” and “What makes me lose interest in a production?” I’ve come up with several ideas, and want to share them with you. As remixes become a popular way to gain notoriety and respect in the growing online producer community, many various types of packs become available for you to play with. Some packs are good, some are bad, and some are just outright ugly. I am sure many have various opinions on the subject and the role of this article will be to examine some thoughts I’ve had, and to open the flood gates for commentary.

To read more please try to visit the original topic website right here. After reading the article if you want  to join our discussion, please do it. We are looking forward to your opinions.

This work was composed as part of a Megatablism video (that is a author’s term for the megamix & turntablism toghether). It is two-hour session that includes some of the most representative tracks of five years in which this style of music became a sensation. DJ Tedu is a great megamixer and this video is a nice proof of it, take a listen and feel free to leave some comments.

Author’s video introduction:

” I hope you like it and it can bring your memories back to the era and style of music somewhat forgotten today ” DJ Tedu

Since the early 90′s Nick Skitz and the Skitz Mix series has been wowing fans with a particular dance sound that no other brand or series has been able to replicate. Probably the most consistent iconic Australian dance brand around, Skitz mix is a lifestyle to thousands of Australian’s who hunger for each new edition. So much so the fans were nicknamed the “Skitz Army” back in 2000 as they pestered retailers for information on the next release.

Not many Australian artists can boast to having sold over 1 Million albums, yet the Skitz mix series and Nick Skitz go relatively unsung by Media despite 5 gold albums, 33 Aria top 10 albums, one #1 ARIA Single and 4 top 20 singles. Not that Nick minds too much. He’s quite happy to remain commercially underground, catering for his hardcore fan-base at his weekly sell out shows round the country.

The legendary Cut Up Boys have returned, and this time they’re going back the 90s! With the nation’s insatiable appetite for the decade that defined dance and fans of the pair drooling for their next fix of mashed up bliss, the Mash Up Mix 90s promises to deliver the most popular addition to the series so far. With every album a top 3 smash that’s no mean feat!

The dynamic duo magically blends tracks you know and love to form all new masterpieces, creating massive tunes that have never been heard before. Now they’ve been let loose on the classic club and party tunes of the 90s, the result is something few people will be able to resist. While the featured artists give an idea of the epic nature of the album, only hearing can do it justice…

Expect to hear 2 Unlimited, Haddaway, Corona, Vanilla Ice, SNAP!, SASH!, Eiffel 65, Urban Cookie Collective, Rozalla, The Outhere Brothers, Fatboy Slim and so many more, but like you never have before!
